Natalie's recent choreography project for the Fresh Fruit Festival, Ninja Motorcycle Babes will be featured in a segment of the TV show "Under the Pink" on WYNE-25 in NYC. Hopefully, you'll catch a glimpse of Natalie's crowd-pleasing choreography! Airtimes are: Friday 10/21 at 10 PM and Saturday 10/22 at 3:30 AM.

Natalie's choreography is featured in the workshop production of "Hitgirls: An Ass-Kicking Musical Comedy in Heels", August 3 - 13 at Manhattan Theatre Source. Hitgirls tells the story of two sisters in the family business of assassination for hire. It's just another day at the office until one of them falls in love and they're confronted with a difficult decision... to kill or not to kill? And how does one kill properly when they are lacking in any physical coordination?

Natalie's choreography will appear in "Ninja Motorcycle Babes" by Lisa Voss at the Fresh Fruit Festival July 20 - 24, 2011. Leather-clad, motorcycle-riding, Kung Fu fighting Mary T, Beth and Cathy -- aka Ninja Motorcycle Babes -- will stop at nothing to get the mass media to start treating women with respect… including terrorizing every commercialshoot that holds back their feminist ideals…

"When I first approached Natalie about creating a dance to end my show, I imagined something simple that she’d whip it up in 20 minutes… Of course, in retrospect, I realize that any competent choreographer would put a lot more time in…. But Natalie went well above the call of duty, doing hours of research, watching several run-throughs, and putting in a great deal of time and energy and passion well above my expectations. Indeed, she also volunteered to create a dance for the top of the show, doubling her work to bookend the piece.
The results were wonderful. No one who saw Ninja Motorcycle Babes – except for Natalie and myself – had any idea how inexperienced these actors were as dancers. In the end – I got just what I wanted – a fun, upbeat, delightful way to end the show – as well as a great deal more!

Bio
Natalie Neckyfarow creates dances that communicate stories through movement connected to emotional context. She loves the challenge of discovering a unique movement vocabulary for each project. Natalie has choreographed for film, theatre and concert dance. Credits include: Ninja Motorcycle Babes (Fresh Fruit Festival), Agrippina (world premiere), Love's Labours Lost (Shakespeare in the Valley), and In Between (short musical film). Her concert dance choreography has been produced by Notes in Motion, STEPS Performance Lab, Celebrations Dance Company, and Smith College. She also works as an actress, dancer and singer and was a Teaching Artist with Camp Broadway from 2007-2010. Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in Dance from Smith College and a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre London.
